When she’s not teaching, she’s usually down her allotment, growing her own. She loves growing cut flowers, in particular dahlias.
Leanne has written for online gardening magazine Garden Folk Magazine and been a guest on podcasts Through the Garden Gate, Sip and Sow podcast and The Allotment Diaries.
She is going to share her talk on Gardening in any space, a useful insight into how you can garden in both small and larger spaces and still get exactly what you need.

After dedicating 12 wonderful years to being a stay-at-home mum, Michelle decided it was time to cultivate a new adventure rooted in something she truly loved. Her journey began with several courses, leading her to craft beautiful dried floral wreaths. As the festive season approached, her focus shifted to creating vibrant fresh wreaths. This natural progression sparked an even deeper passion for all things floral – whether dried or fresh – and the sheer happiness they bring continues to blossom.
Join Michelle for a demonstration where she’ll create a stunning fresh eucalyptus wreath. This beautiful piece will naturally dry, allowing you to enjoy its charm inside or outside your home for several months! She’ll be using components from her “Make Your Own” wreath kits, which will also be available for purchase.

They’ll be focusing on education and raising crucial awareness about hedgehogs and their vulnerable status, offering invaluable insights into how we can all help protect these beloved creatures.

This self-guided activity will be open from 9:30am – 5pm on Saturday and 11am – 4pm on Sunday.
Look for signs to our Kids activity area and pop along and plant one for yourself.
Get ready for some extra sparkle at our Festival of Flowers as we have The Sparkle Parlour here to do face painting (and maybe some festival glitter too) adding even more colour to your visit!
Face painting will be based in our Kids Activities area and available on both Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June from 12-4pm both days.

Originating from the heart of our family garden, Market Harborough Honey Co. was born from a fascination with the vital role bees play in pollination. Now, they’re taking that same dedication to craftsmanship and sustainability and infusing it into their spirits.

From intricate jewellery and beautifully woven macramé to artisanal home décor, there’s something to capture the interest and imagination of every visitor.
Our market not only provides an opportunity to discover one-of-a-kind treasures but also supports local artists and makers. You can meet the creators behind the products, learn about their craftsmanship, and find out what inspires their designs. It’s a perfect outing for families, friends, and anyone looking to enjoy a creative and community-focused atmosphere.
