With Summer nearly over, What? It’s now time to start planning some colour in your garden for early spring. With half an hours work now you can fill you boarders with colour for 4-5 months next season. Snowdrops, crocus, daffodils, tulips, allium, fritillaria etc can all be planted between now and mid-November. There is a multitude of colours and shades to choose from, and guess what we have got loads in stock! Plus loads of advice as always.

Winter flowering pansies and violas are now available. They are better planted before the hard weather hits. Planting early allows them to get established and flowering before the soil cools and the sun shines less brightly. We have really missed the sun and its energy this year. Grain, fruit and veg crops have all yielded less this year and the quality is poorer.

We had a FAB Most Marvellous Vintage weekend thanks to all who came, I hope you enjoyed yourselves? Great to see the field being used as a car park.

I hope all you dog owners enjoyed a walk in the woods. Remember they are open while the Garden Centre is open 9.00am -5.30pm.

Have a great weekend
