What to feed garden birds?
Here is any easy rundown of what to feed your garden birds.
Bringing birds to your garden is a rewarding way to connect with nature and support local wildlife. A well-stocked bird feeder can attract a wide variety of species, each with its own dietary preferences. By offering the right food, you can ensure your feathered visitors are happy, healthy, and keep coming back for more.
Know your garden bird’s food palettes
Different birds prefer different foods, and providing a variety of options can attract a wider range of species. For instance, Great Tits and Starlings are not picky and will enjoy almost everything, from sunflower hearts and peanuts to suet, mealworms, and a variety of seed mixes. On the other hand, the Woodpecker has a more specific palate, preferring peanuts and suet, along with superior seed mix.
