Always a busy month in the garden! You’ll be reaping the rewards from the vegetable garden as well as getting the garden ready for winter/next season.Plant spring flowering bulbs such as daffodils, crocus and hyacinth bulbs for spring flowering.Divide herbaceous perennials such as Cyclamen, Salvia and Delphinium and water in well.Dig up any remaining potatoes before slugs tuck in.Continue to deadhead and feed hanging baskets/containers and you should enjoy colour until first frost.September is the perfect time to plant Trees and Shrubs out for vigorous growth next spring.Prune climbing roses and rambling roses after flowering (not if they are repeat flowering).Clear out your Greenhouse and cold frames.Cover ponds with nets before leaves dropCollect and sow seed from perennials and hardy annuals
