Join our floral and gourmet experts for a creative and delicious workshop where you’ll make a luxury Christmas wreath and be taken on a tasting tour through seasonal cheeses and wines.

Crafting Luxury Wreaths

Guided by award-winning florists from The Flower Story, you will make your own Christmas wreath, a true symbol of the Christmas season. Using traditional techniques, plenty of seasonal foliage and natural decorations, you will be taught how to create a sustainable and beautiful wreath to be proud of.

Sipping Winter Wines with Expert Advice

Elevate your evening with the expertise of our wine connoisseur from Vinebud, who will lead you through a journey of discovery in the realm of winter wines. Experience the art of selecting the finest vintages that perfectly complement the Christmas season. With his guidance, you’ll explore the subtleties of each pour, understanding how to choose wines that elevate your Christmas celebrations to new heights.

Savouring Seasonal Cheese

Indulge your taste buds with a curated selection of seasonal cheeses that embody the flavours of winter. From velvety bries to robust cheddars, Immerse yourself in the world of artisan cheeses, where every bite transports you to a world of festive delight.

Your Wreath Making Workshop…

  • £60 per person.
  • Your workshop includes, your wreath and materials to make it, a guided wine taster & a selection of cheese and nibbles supplied.
  • All materials for your wreath are locally and British sourced where possible.
  • You will need to bring with you a pair of florist scissors or secateurs.
  • You will be able to purchase additional decorations from our range here at Bell Plantation on the evening should you wish to do so. There will also be a selection of gift ideas.
  • There will be the opportunity to purchase wraps of Christmas foliage from The Flower Story and order your Christmas wines from Vinebud on the evening.

Lizzy set up The Flower Story nearly ten years ago. Since then, she has been creating beautiful works of floral art for weddings, events and parties all over the country. She specializes in luxurious, natural and seasonal arrangements, endeavouring to work, as much as possible, with local flowers and foliage. She also just loves to talk about flowers. Everyone loves a flower story!

 

The Flower Story is based in a workshop just outside Silverstone. Lizzy’s award-winning work has been featured in blogs, magazines and on television. And now Lizzy is here to teach you some of the tricks to make your own Christmas wreath, a Christmas wreath with a story!

Josh is the founder of Towcester’s independent wine shop, Vinebud, and the Bell Plantation’s resident wine expert.

Specialising in getting off the beaten track and unearthing hidden gems, Josh’s passion for wine stems from a belief that great wine is made in the vineyard, not the winery. In contrast to commercially-driven, overly-chemicalised supermarket wines, Vinebud is all about the niche & natural, the delicious & unique, and stocking the good stuff you just don’t find elsewhere.

Josh will join us and give you a taste of what your Christmas wines could be!

At the workshop you will be able to indulge in a delightful array of Christmas cheeses and crackers that will tickle your taste buds with Christmas cheer. From creamy Brie and tangy blue cheese to aged cheddar, these cheeses perfectly complement a variety of artisan crackers and condiments.
