Garden Buddies

Launched in May 2012 with a grant from the Big Lottery Fund, Garden Buddies was a project dedicated to helping elderly and disabled residents in South Northamptonshire who were unable to maintain their gardens. Bell Plantation are proud to be supporting them in their campaign for volunteer support.

For nearly 13 years, their incredible team of volunteers have worked tirelessly to ensure that hundreds of residents could enjoy their gardens as safe and welcoming spaces. Their efforts are supported by numerous corporate groups and community teams, all committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of others. And they certainly do, transforming outdoor spaces and bringing joy to so many.

Do you love gardening and want to make a real difference in your community? they’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers in the Brackley (NN13) and Towcester (NN12) areas to join their team.

As a Garden Buddy, you’ll be helping local residents who are unable to maintain their gardens, transforming their outdoor spaces and brightening their lives. In return, you’ll get to:

Learn new skills.
Create greener, happier communities.
Add a valuable experience to your CV.

They operate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM. They offer flexible hours and lighter duties if you prefer. You can volunteer regularly or just occasionally—whatever works for you! They provide all the tools, equipment, and training you’ll need. All you need is a willingness to help.
